John Lennon expressed that he was tired of the existing Christmas songs and wanted to write a tune with a deeper meaning. Lennon believed the song’s message was a gift to the world, contrasting with the often politically charged holiday lyrics of the era. In 1969, Lennon and Ono put up billboards in major cities worldwide that read, “WAR IS OVER! (If You Want It) – Happy Christmas from John & Yoko”. Significantly emphasizing this slogan which generated for two years, reaching-out on that message–chiefly, during the Vietnam War (11/01/1955-4/30/1975). Though, unforeseen challenges came, when the United States was attacked on 9/11/2001 (911), the U.S. military strikes against Asia (Afghanistan) was the result (10/07/2001-8/30/2021). Also combatting against ISIS in Iraq  (8/08/2014), and in Syria ( 9/22/2014), was part of “Operation Inherent Resolve.” While ISIS was territorially and defeated in Iraq by December 2017 and in Syria by March 2019, Geographically, these insurrections killed hundreds of thousands of people. Has God inspired Lennon’s perspective and writing skills for world peace by this song? “Happy Xmas (War Is Over),” (released in the U. S. 12/01/1971, and UK 11/24/1972). Today, this song is often referred to by its opening line, “So this is Christmas,”. seems to question every listener’s distinction whether it is personal or of the world’s problems. And with the one line sends a strong message, perhaps from above: “And so this is Christmas, and what have you done…” its intention to encourage personal responsibility, peace and good will throughout the universe is clear.

Across the globe, the Christian worldview regards to Christmas, nearly twenty centuries (1,989 years), as December 25 first being formally recorded as a Christian observance in 336 CE that celebrates the birth and Savior, Jesus Christ.   The true meaning of Christmas, the purpose of its commemoration is depleted over generations for the greater “gates of hell,” the universal chain of commerce and credit card companies, driving people into a pit of debt each Christmas season in unforeseen hardship and slave working to pay high interest rates for a celebration that only calls for remembrance, family unity , peace on earth and good will among men. The minor of gifts do not need to be outstanding or lavished and can be purchased anytime throughout a year from resourceful funding; there should be no bullying among children , teens and adults about the value of one’s Christmas to another. The appreciation of the observance is an opportunity believing a Savior was born. leading the way to baptism and covenants to a cress for the remission of sins; this is the greatest sacrifice Jesus committed to His Heavenly Father–an attornment to save one’s soul by shedding His blood and resurrecting. Jesus provided evidence that day; a gift of forgiveness through repentance Scholars believe, for various reasons, that Jesus was crucified in the spring of either AD 30 or AD 33, (The evidence from astronomy narrows the possibilities to AD 27, 30, 33, or 34). Without the birth of a Savior and His undying sacrifice, there would be no hope for mankind. “So this is Christmas, and what have you done...”Imagine, for this purpose the true meaning on Christmas day.
