What inspired Jefferey Epstein to sex traffic the minor of young adolescents is quite clear, except Epstein’s pattern of abuse and exploitation of underage girls began as early as the  1990s for self-gratification, then, raising the bar as a financier attracting prominence and influence to his life. Sex trafficking for Epstein, was not articulate income but an investment. It was a means to entertain and secure a level of cliental, at the same time satisfy his darkest desires. Donating large contributions to political campaigns, Epstein perhaps could have landed a government role with significant influence over policy and decision-making. Subsequently, Investigations and legal experts speculated, that Epstein might have used hidden cameras within his properties to record powerful associates engaging in sexual sessions with under-age victims. Whether these interactions were of an advantage or blackmail scheme to protect himself and his network is unclear. However the travesty of this injustice, offered access to young high school girls into a social circle of billionaires, politicians, and academics, Epstein was able to indulge himself among powerful individuals, building social capital that insulated him from legal scrutiny for many years. With that in mind, Epstein might have thought he bluffed the legal system until getting captured. Legal pundits and prosecutors are convinced Epstein’s sex trafficking was motivated for ‘power ‘ and leverage.’ Perhaps so. Prostituting is ne of the oldest trade and trick since the Bible was inked, except with Jeffery Epstein, he had taken this to the highest level exploiting young teens with his co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s financial resources were limited after her the death of her father, Robert Maxwell, who was a British media proprietor and politician. Maxwell, was of Jewish descent and escaped the Nazi occupation of his native Czechoslovakia and joined the Czechoslovak Army in exile during World War II. He was decorated after active service in the British Army. Maxwell died on November 5, 1991 at the age of 68. (as cited: Wikipedia).

 Ghislaine Maxwell on the other hand, gained access to a wealthy lifestyle mostly through an association with Epstein. In return, she assisted Jefferey by employing and overseeing household staff while recruiting some under-age-girls and facilitating Epstein’s abuse. Ultimately, the wealth generated from Epstein’s legitimate financial business which allowed him to live with minimal accountability, which enabled his long pattern of prohibited illegal sex and exploitation of young girls unforeseen. 

Maxwell was married to American tech CEO Scott Borgerson from 2016 until their separation, which occurred around the time of her conviction in late 2021 or early 2022. The marriage was a closely guarded secret, not even known to her family until after her arrest in July 2020. Court documents revealed the marriage between Scott Borgerson and Ghislaine when Maxwell’s legal team included her husband’s assets as collateral in a bail application. While Ghislaine Maxwell was a confidant to Jefferey Epstein, at the same time she remained married to Scott Borgerson, Was there a business association between both men? Did Epstein know of Maxwell’s marriage to Borgerson?

Regardless how these young girls were lured by Epstein and Maxwell’s round-up, the unraveling elements of curiosity that ‘IF’ Epstein’s cliental–the one’s having sex with these minors, knew whether the girls were under-age regardless of consent? Did these teens have an opportunity to say “NO” without any retribution from Maxwell and depart? There are many unanswered questions to Epstein and Maxwell’s saga-even since the justice department recently interviewed Maxwell , and previously transferred her to an elite federal prison camp having unrestricted privileges other minimum facilities do not.

It was widely reported that Borgerson dissolved their marriage with a a phone call while Maxwell was jailed. Despite their marital status, Maxwell was never married to Jeffrey Epstein, (as cited: Google).  Epstein and his co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell, set their goals on vulnerable young victims , generally from disadvantaged backgrounds, paying hundreds of dollars for massages, sexual acts and encouraging their victims to recruit other girls.
Maxwell was essential in creating a normal setting for the sexual encounters surrounding the young victims, and discuss sexual content, at the same time present during their engagement with Epstein’s guest; many young girls questioned their own instincts whether the situation was normal or safe because of Maxwell’s presence throughout sessions.
Maria Farmer, was a victim of Epstein /Maxwell’s abuse, reporting to the FBI as early as 1996, though an investigation was not initiated then. Recently, thee justice department confidential interviews with Maxwell, led to suspicion of a greater scandal to protect influence and wealth. Regardless of Congress to release Epstein’s documents/emails, will American public trust still rest with peace?

A common serial sex-trafficker, rapist or murderer would not benefit from the exclusiveness the Epstein/Maxwell saga investigation underwent. For example: Harvey Weinstein, a well known film maker, rest is in custody at Bellevue Hospital, Manhattan, New York, awaiting a retrial after his 2020 New York conviction was overturned. Weinstein is being held in a hospital rather than a prison cell because of his medical requirements. Weinstein was previously incarcerated at the Mohawk Correctional Facility in upper-state New York transferred from Riker’s Island. Weinstein 2021 convictions were overturned by the New York Court of Appeals in 2024. Weinstein receives comfortable accommodations similar to Maxwell. Unfortunately, Jefferey Epstein did not.

As for Ghislaine Maxwell, a dormitory type suite the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan Texas, that houses non-violent, white-collar offenders and has a more relaxed environment compared to higher-security prisons, with dormitory-style housing and no locked doors Maxwell is at home and perhaps her story ends here.

Epstein’s threshold into finance launched as a math and physics instructor at The Dalton School in Manhattan from 1974 to 1976. Epstein also tutored the son of Alan ‘Ace’ Greenberg, who was the CEO of a Wall Street investment bank (Bear Stearns). .Greenberg was impressed by Epstein’s tutoring and math skills, offering young Jeffery a head start joining ‘Bear Stearns‘ in 1976 as a low-level junior assistant to a floor trader, despite having never completed a college degree. Jefferey Epstein quickly advanced, becoming an ‘options trader‘ and working with some of the bank’s wealthiest clients on tax mitigation strategies. In recognition of his skills, Jeffery was made a limited partner at the firm in 1980. Subsequently, at a time gone by, Epstein was asked to leave the firm under unclear circumstances in 1981, possibly due to a ‘Page D’ violation. Shortly after departing Bear Stearns, Epstein eventually ventured into the finance and consulting business since 1981 ending his life story from a Metropolitan Correctional Center jail, New York on August 10, 2019 (age 66 years).
